‘Tis the season to be… cold!
I’m proud to say that I’m out on the road again this winter for my third annual Benefit Show Tour! This year we will see northern Ontario once again, one of my favorite, not to mention one of the coldest, areas that I have the opportunity to perform.
Tonight I have a show in North Bay Ontario, then the crew and I are headed up to perform in Kapuskasing Ontario.
Its been nearly two years since I’ve been able to get up to Kapuskasing with my show. Last time I brought my show up there, we literally had to pack everyone into the venue, by the time the show started, it was standing room only! The audiences in Kapuskasing are perhaps the most enthusiastic and appreciative in the entire country. … I don’t think many magic shows tour though there, but I’m sure glad that I’ll be going back. Last time I was up there, it was a bone chilling minus forty degrees. Thankfully the forecast is telling me it’ll be a bit warmer this year.
After “Kap” I have a performance in Timmins, then I’m making the long drive home just in time for some private events in Ontario. Then I’ll be jumping on a plane and headed out to Alberta for a few shows with my friend Paul Royter who presents one of the funniest comedy hypnosis shows I’ve ever seen. Here’s his website: www.paulroyter.com
Then I’ll return to Ontario just in time for Christmas with my family back home.
There’s no business like show business!
I wish the best to you and yours, may you have the chance to be with the people who matter to you this Holiday season.
Warmest regards from the freezing cold north,
Sam
P.S. I’ve finally jumped on the bandwagon and purchased a high definition video camera to record my shows. I’ll be posting video on YouTube soon of some amazing new illusions I’ve added to the show. Stay tuned!
